Enabling Java
You have been directed to this page because it appears that Java is not installed or not enabled on your computer.
For Microsoft Windows, the simplest way to solve Java configuration issues is often to download and install the latest version of Java from Sun's Java.com; this also has the effect of changing browser settings to enable Java. Alternatively, you can follow detailed instructions from Sun for getting Java running on Windows. For Apple Macintosh, Java is included with the operating system.
If you are sure that Java is installed on your system it is possible that it needs to be enabled, as detailed in the instructions at the bottom of this page. In addition, the following configuration information can be helpful for troubleshooting: if Java is working, a purple rectangle will appear below with information about the version of Java you are running.
If this doesn't work, and the setting changes below don't work, please contact us for further assistance, or ask your computer administrators how to get access to Java.
