A differential diagnosis is a ranked list of candidate diseases based on the patient’s findings (signs, symptoms, and test results).
The software calculates the probability of each candidate disease in the differential diagnosis (blue shading) based on the findings input. It also calculates the pertinence of those findings in driving the differential diagnosis (green shading), so you can focus on the ones that have the most pertinence.
